YOU MOVE OUR WORLD

• Professional and disciplinary leadership as well as coordination of the Import Operations Trade Teams (Americas, Europe, Far East, India & Africa, UAC) and the Key Account Teams (Crossborder, Global Accounts, NVO, VCC)
• Leadership, motivation, and development of employees to ensure high performance and goal achievement
• Implementation of strategic guidelines of the (General) Management and development of suitable action plans
• Regular monitoring of progress, identification of essential developments, and reporting to ensure goal achievement
• Control and continuous optimization of operational processes
• Representation of the Import Operations area in strategic meetings and customer appointments

WHAT YOU BRING

• Completed degree in shipping, transport, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of demonstrable experience in a related area.
• Proven leadership experience in operational teams, preferably in leading managers
• Transformative, organizational, and social leadership skills
• Fluent English and local language
• Advanced communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of operational import processes
• Specific know-how depending on the department (e.g., one of the experts in the team or good understanding of several teams or very good methodological skills)
• Preferably experience in dealing with internal/external stakeholders depending on the area
