Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Wok Chef based in West Monroe, LA. The Wok Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes using wok techniques, maintaining kitchen safety and hygiene, ensuring efficient food prep, and collaborating with the kitchen team. Responsibilities also include monitoring inventory, assisting with menu planning, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The role demands dedication to culinary excellence, efficiency, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Expertise in wok cooking, food preparation, and crafting authentic Asian cuisine
• Strong knowledge of kitchen safety, food hygiene, and sanitation standards
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage cooking activities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in menu planning, inventory management, and ingredient portioning
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with kitchen and service staff
• Punctuality, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of food quality
• Previous experience as a Wok Chef or similar position; culinary certification is a plus
