Responsibilities:* Responsible for cleaning, assembling/dissembling, installing, removing & setting up of dies and auxiliary equipment on various mechanical power presses for current and new products.* Troubleshoots operation of mechanical power presses and other ancillary equipment.* Responsible to produce first piece samples, completing all necessary paperwork, and performing quality tests.* Confers with quality and engineering to resolve problems of specifications, materials, tooling, procedures or processes affecting quality.* Loads and unloads raw material from presses and will be responsible for ensuring press safety guarding is properly in place an adjusted.* Works closely with maintenance and toolroom to ensure that equipment and tooling are in good operating condition.* Operate stamping press, as needed.* May provide material handling support by operating forklift and crane.* Assist with continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives.* Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment* Follow stamping schedule as outlined.* Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:* High School diploma or equivalent experience in manufacturing environment.* Must have a mechanical aptitude.* Ability to trouble-shoot.* Previous experience as a machine operator and/or set-up preferred.* Experience with ERP systems.* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally.* Must be able to prioritize tasks.* Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.* Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.* Forklift and Crane knowledge and experience is a plus.Diversity & Inclusion StatementUPG Enterprises LLC and its Affiliates is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce.
