CNC Machine Operator - Pay Range

• Paid WEEKLY
• $15hr - $25/hr based on experience and/or qualifications

CNC Machine Operator Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The CNC Machine Operator tends to the fabricating machine to cut, shape and bend structural plates by performing the following duties:

• Programs CNC machine to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. These CNC Machines include Burn Table, Angle/Beam Line, Wheel-a-brator and Coper.
• Load CAD drawn CNC programs with job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Observes machine operation to detect defects or machine malfunction.
• Load and unload structural steel from machine with overhead crane.
• Remove burrs from parts. Clear scrap shavings and debris from machine when required.
• Package parts for delivery or pick up.
• The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Minimum of three months' related experience and/or training.
• Must have ability to read and understand detailed shop drawings.
• Must have ability to perform basic math functions.
• Must have good oral/written communication skills.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Physical Demands

• Must have ability to lift and/or move 50 lbs. frequently
• Considerable amounts of standing, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles.
• Exposed to temperature fluctuations and a noisy work environment.
• All of the physical demands listed are essential functions.
